A new cognitive approach to the treatment and prevention of depression in university settings

This research aims to assess the effectiveness in both short and long term of a brief group Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) university setting evaluate if there are changes cognitive styles participants. Three groups students were made: TCC (Cognitive behavioral treatment with depressive symptoms), control (non-treated controls symptoms) healthy without symptoms). The results showed significant improvement symptoms term, style treated group, especially rather than short. However, suggest that CBT is not enough make subjects show complete well-being. Therefore, efficacy for depression seems confirmed once again, as well predictions models comprehension, treatment, prevention among students.
